Tips for San Diego - Survival Guide?

If you've already picked up your pass(on preview night), there's no reason to stand in line each morning. Wander into the gaslamp district, have a nice breakfast, then wander back at 10am and just walk in the front door.

If you want to park at the convention center, I'd get there no later than 8am, and on Saturday, no later than 7:30.

How about Sunday? Only day I am going to be able to attend.

Parking at the convention center is still a pain and you should plan on getting there by 8 a.m. at the latest, but parking is easier to find around the convention center area - you can park in metered spaces for free all day on Sundays (at least that's how it's been the past 15 years - never know when the city might want to make some more $$$).

There's a ton of parking around the convention center with the Padres ballpark practically next door and all. Might have to walk a few blocks, but there's usually something available around there.
