SA Group Shot Thread

178 posts in this topic

Since the GA guys have been having so much fun posting their group shots, I think it's only fair that we have a SA group shot too.

Admittedly, I'm starting this for selfish purposes, as I'm in the midst of selling off much of the major parts of my collection and am furiously trying to document what I own for posterity before it gets broken up. So with that disclaimer out of the way, Post 'Em If You Got 'Em!

I'll kick things off with my Flash collection. Many of the books are from the Western Penn collection.

Tim - - sweet books. Its a shame you are selling them. But Im sure you have a good reason...maybe buying a house, perhaps.?

Indeed.

Are all the Flashes 9.4s? Awesome!

Yes, except for the 9.6s and 9.8s. grin.gif The Western Penn Flash run is really sick. My part of the run doesn`t even include many early copies that were 9.0s and 9.2s, which I stupidly passed on when the collection was offered to me. And unfortunately the WP Flash 123, which is the sole CGC 9.4 copy, was never offered to me and I got outbid when it came up on Heritage a couple of years ago.

Here`s what`s in the pics (and grades, since they`re too small to be made out, particularly in all the old label books):

111...9.4

116...9.4

117...9.4

120...9.4

Flash Annual 1...9.6

80 Page Giant 9...9.6

selling? aren't there any lifers left?

We got tired of being perpetual renters! tongue.gif

have you decided which route to go? heritage?

The Flashes will be in Heritage`s November Signature Auction. Haven`t decided what I`m going to do with the other DC runs yet. I will keep my B&B 28 and FC 178, however, and am still debating whether or not to hold on to my Adventure 247.

You're missing a few issues. (But, I'll gladly trade up for grade.) Looks like I finally have a reason to bid at Heritage.

iNCREDIBLE BOOKS!! And yeah, it must sting a little to have passed on the early WPs because they were 'only' 9.0 and 9.2s. But whats done is done... But dont sell... you KNOW you'll drift back someday and be sorry!
