From what I recall when that 9.4 sold for a lot more than pricing history suggested at the time, it was (or likely was) b/c a couple of guys battled it out to add the book to their reg sets.  If so, this 9.6 result might be explained by the absence of such a battle this time around.

Yeah just have a tough time buying that. A 9.4 to 9.6 bump is massive with that book, or it should be. No general issue like bad centering would make a 9.6 sell for less than a 9.4. Could see that happening with a lower grade book, and definitely with books in the same grade. And don’t get me wrong, I’m all for presentation is big selling point, but not when we’re talking 9.4 to 9.6. No that was just a flop.
