So for these early issues in 9.0+ selling insane what are the lower grade 1.0 to 5.0 for these early ones going for.

I thought I paid a prohibitive price for this book in 2010 from Comiclink.

Now I just wish I had bought also the gorgeous AF 15 7.0 that was listed at the same time

Seeing these otherworldly prices on Silver Age Spideys makes me so happy that I completed my Vol. 1 run, albeit with a GRR #1, shortly before the pandemic hit. The only books I paid four figures for are my 5.0ish #3 ($1500) and 5.5ish #14 ($1000). There’s no way I could afford all of the low number issues now that I acquired in the span of a couple of years from 2015-17.

Tight grading. Front cover looks 9.4/9.6 but back cover has a couple stress lines that do not break colors. I know what pressers would do but not for me.

$400 .  But that doesn't compare to my paying peanuts for many others, including $8 each for ASM 13, 24, 26, 28-42, 46 (apparently as a lot)!  Those were the days.

So with a big upswing in record sales prices for Issue 2 (if I am remembering correctly 2 $40K+ and 1 at ($49,999) let's call it $50K curious what our collective thoughts are on issue 3 in 9.0 and better.  GPA Analysis only shows the Heritage sale for 9.0 Nov 2020.  Per GPA most recent 9.2 $24,000/Sep 21, 9.4 $28,800/Nov 20 and Twin Cities Pedigree $39,600 Jan 21 and 9.6 $144,000 Sep 21.  

So we all know Issue 3 is (should be) (much?) more valuable than Issue 2 with the first Doc Ock and thinking perhaps harder to come by with the lack of recent sales.  So what would we expect the next 9.0/9.2/9.4 sales to be (I'll leave the 9.6 2nd highest graded (9 graded copies) and 9.8 (2 graded copies) off as the unicorns in the mix?  Census for the others (9.0 48 ; 9.2 27 and 9.4 12 graded).  Here's my guess (or at least where I think they are headed)...

9.0 $60,000

9.2 $80,000

9.4 $100,000

It's awfully late, but wanted to post my mail from today.

The way prices have been trending, I was incredibly worried that I'd never be able to afford to replace the copy of #1 that I sold back in 2011. This one cost significantly more than that one, but I managed to swing it. Tape on cover, but most importantly, the cover is attached and the book is complete.
