On the other hand, I do consider 102 to be silver, and that Kirby leaving Marvel marks the end of the age.

Kirby leaving Marvel with FF 102 makes sense to me and actually jibes perfectly with the date of the book that I always believed ushered in the Bronze Age. Conan 1. FF 102 September 1970. Conan 1 October 1970!

Remember, Kirby has art in 108. He left the issue unfinished, and they worked it in. It’s something of a mess, that they tried to fix with this fun comic.
