#28 was one of the oldest back issues I bought when I started collecting and it's always been a favorite of the early books. Early Kirby X-Men, Chic Stone inks and a creature who resembles a pre-hero monster. What's not to like?

Janowicz copy, a sweet original owner SA and BA collection auctioned off back in the day.

Cover colors on the Janowicz books were exceptional.  Here's a scan from the Heritage archive of the #1.  Yes, the image looks to have been heavily processed to accentuate the whites, but still...:

I’m usually a Spidey guy, but I’m finding myself being drawn back to the FF ( my first ever book ) and in particular the classic early Surfer issues. 
just been on a spending spree but all at what I considered to be a great price. 
delighted with these.
