Here are a handful of books that will be on sale (along with 900 other RAW 12 cent Marvels) at the TVComics booth at NYCComicCon in two weeks. see my thread in the Marketing/Advertising section for details; these are all 7.5 - 8.0ish - probably the title with the best overall grades.

Tough selling those kind of copies!!!

 

They become almost like family members!!!

 

The 106 is part of the Sid's Luncheonette Collection and comes with a COA, the others are purchases i've accumulated over the past 6 years or so.................

Winnipeg copy. Graded a NM94 by Showcase New England back in '97.

 

Bob, are you serious?? doe that name on the cover signify anything??

 

That's the sig of the original owner of the Winnie pedigree - the sig that is on 99% of the collection from 1965 and earlier. Here's one of my "autographed" Winnies:

Bob; this is just too weird.............

 

I went back through my old records and found out that i bought this book as a part of a lovely 25 issue ST collection almost 4 years ago. the seller (on ebay) graded this copy as a 6.5 :o

 

i'm thinking it's more like an 8.0, and you're telling us that SNE called it a 9.4 eleven years ago.

 

talk about three folks seeing the same book and forming different opinions......... :insane:

 

of course i went back to check if i had any others but, of course... :(

Could have been damaged after SNE sold it to your seller - that crease on the bottom of the front cover would be obvious even to Dan the Man! :devil:

The List of RAW 12 cent Strange Tales that i will be bringing to NYC this weekend is up in the Marketing/Advertising Forum.

 

i've only included books graded at 7.0 or better a a Key or two. there will be many other mid/low grade books.
