The irradiated spider transfered its abilities to Peter with its bite.

What abilities?

Strength...........Check

Agility-------------Check

Walk on Hard surfaces------------Check

 

Extra sensory perception that warns of Danger.......check...........HOLD THE PHONE!!!

 

 

Since when do spiders have that ability?

Could Parker be a mutant who allways had ability but it took the bite of a spider to relase it?

 

And could the radiated blood be messing up with the mutant sensors?

 

How long till Spidey joins the X-men?

Although Spidey's powers could potentially MUTATE, I wouldn't consider him a MUTANT. Wasn't something like this HINTED at in the current ASM title? Maybe it was during the Morlun and Ezekiel storyarc....

Just a FEW flaws in your argument.

 

1. Spiders DO NOT have great proportionate strength (thats ants).

2. Spiders DO NOT have great agility, in fact with 8 legs they are somewhat clumsy/cumbersome compared to most other insects.

3. Spiders DO have an extra sensory perception.

 

 

4. You were correct with the sticking to walls thing.

 

All these factors come about from the fact that Stan & Steve were not scientists and did not verify the facts about Spiders, and therefore the origin of Spideys powers are somewhat of a stretch.

Ares...watch a documentary on Australian Trapdoor spiders and you will realise that spiders do not have to see something to know what is going on. They definitely have a "spidey sense".

They can feel sometign above them if I am not mistaken but that does not warn them of danger.

Neither were Stan and Jack scientists. If a real person was exposed to the amount of gamma radiation that struck Bruce Banner the book would be called "The Incredible Cinder Pile" instead of "The Incredible Hulk."
