Where's Waldo? Cap n Mandi have landed in Alaska. See Comicdey's report inside

The message came in a very eerie way......the elders spoke.........

 

and the spirits listened...

They would travel to Barrow Alaska on the North Slope to free a native lady from her lonely captivity. They would travel by motorcycle they decided...up the wonderfully paved "haul" road up to the North Slope.

 

Cap was first to the bikes and was able to abscond with a KLR 650 enduro

 

Mandi was not so quick and had to settle for a small centrifical clutch 50 cc kids motorcycle.....Cap laughed along the bumpy ride as Mandi's knees continually hit the handlebars.

 

But on they rode....as the winds howled....

Upon arrival in Barrow.....

 

Cap and mandi found desolate housing, winds blaring, and snow with bitter cold that chilled them to the bone.

 

The town was empty....everyone had been hearded up and taken to the town wastewater treatment plant. Cap and Mandi were struck from behind....and awoke behind bars....wondering what their next move would be.

Outside the jail, Cap and Mandi could hear the winds howling and the Arctic Ocean surf pounding against the beach.

 

The carrier pigeon message they had received was not incredibly clear, but they knew that they had to escape and make their way to save the young lady and then return home.

In a sheer act of brilliance...Cap feigned a headach and the guards went out to get him some aspirin.

 

While away, Cap and Mandi were able to slip between the bars and move deftly back into town. That is with a little help from their pretty white friends....

 

Reinforcements arrived by very low flying aircraft.

A long battle ensued....and cap and mandi were able to round up all the "bad guys" and place them back in the jail cell that they were once held in....

 

Strangely enough, the "bad guys" didn't seem to broken up about being in jail and having to change their ways.

Cap and Mandi searched and found the native lady who had sent them a plea for help.....She was more than willing to have her photo taken with her American Saviours....

 

Be aware the wind was howling....and she was being a very good sport about the whole thing

The whole community came out and celebrated their freedom with a traditional blanket toss.

 

Cap and Mandi posed outside of Brower's restaurant for a traditional tourist image in front of the whale ribs.

The sun was setting....but Cap and Mandi had one more request before leaving the great Alaskan Arctic...

 

They had heard about the Polar Bear Ice Classic where they go in the water for a quick dip....and I was all too happy to oblige.....sorry Ze....hope the CGC case is waterproof.....

On to the next adventure of Cap and Mandi....where they go....only the shadow knows.

Yeah......Mandi and I are both losing our hair....I'm thinking of cracking him out of the slab to give him a "trim".
