Can't figure out how to start or restart the game. Can't get white pawn up to King-4. Is the game stuck?

A few quick tips:

a) click the piece you want to move, then click the spot you want to move it to;

b) if you can't move a piece, you are likely in check (check the summary right above the restart button)

c) a click of the restart button should restart the game

d) and for gosh sakes, don't let Al beat you!

Click king, then click castle.

 

Edit: there is a bug afterall, it's only possible to castle on another side

It seems to be possible to castle on both sides. Perhaps that bug won't let you castle if your king has been checked earlier in the game?

Deep seems to be learning the board members' tricks after each game. The program is trying not to make the same mistake twice.
