a 9.6 copy of 216 was on the Link back in August, asking price was $450, but i'm sure you knew this already

Didn't see it, but truth be told, I'd rather a 9.0/9.2 for a quarter the price, snap it open and actually not be afraid to handle it.

I know, I know... they're brutal. Not my thing, but the mere fact that they are so rare holds a great deal of appeal.

 

Man, I wish I liked moderns or Valiants of 90s Marvels or something easy.

During early ebay years DC war was fairly cheap. Could get nice runs of late 90s to 160 of Our Army at War fairly cheap, then it seemed all at once everyone started collecting them. Only recently in the past year have I come back to them.

That was half of the fun for me (in regards to DC "niche" genres)...if it was easy it wouldn't be fun...yet we torture ourselves in the pursuit...sick isn't it?
