Think Your Creative?

11 posts in this topic

Yeah, I know this is the wrong forum, but I didn't think it needed to be a permanent part of rthe other area and I like the fact it will be gone 12 days after the last post is made.

Anyway, on to the topic at hand:

Let's say, hypothetically, you were gonna have a commission done recreating the cover of HULK 181 except using PREACHER characters instead. Jesse as Wolverine, Jody as Hulk and TC as Wendigo. My question is this, What would you put as the title (The Incredible Preacher...and now the Good Ol Boys???), what about the blurbs on the cover?

I've got a few ideas, but wanted to solicit some more thoughts?

Thanks for your time,

The Evangelical JESSE

And Now... DELIVERANCE

Not sure about the blurbs, (change "Canadian" to "Preaching"?)

"Bringing up the rear in this epic tag team saga-- TC, the INBRED"

With a PREACHER-related retitling, the Hulk graphic at top left would have to change to a Jesse graphic, imo.

That lines a keeper. Thanks Iggy.

Yeah, I thought the upper right hulk should be changed to a pic similiar to the PREACHER statue, or a close-up of Jesse lighting a cig a la John Constantine.

I'm gonna do a mock up cover with my limited photoshop abilities with some of these ideas.

Please keep em comin'

Mike
