First appearance of Krypto with Superman (hey, I don't make this stuff up. You should read this story, it's crazy). Up till this point in time Krypto was only in stories with Superboy. This is the story that showed that super kryptonians on earth WILL age...no further spoilers...you must go and read it

Since we are doing Legion appearances and since I never get tired of this book, here is the 6th Legion appearance plus the first appearance of several Legionnaires:

 

 

Danny, this book looks far too nice for an 8.0 grade. What downgrades it from an 8.5 or better?

Okay Ian, just for you...here is the *unslabbed* scan of the Action 276 (now you know how much I love these books, I break every one of them out!). I honeslty cannot see anything other than a tiny little corner tear on the bottom of the spine. That probably knocked it from a 9.0-9.2 to the 8.0 that it got. Here it is:
