bronzilla
I have a full set of the 100 PAGE SPECTACULARS and this issue without a doubt has been the most difficult for me to find raw in high grade. I really thought this issue looked sweet till I scanned it. The Black is a nightmare on this cover. Cant you just imagine what price the OA to this cover would go for in the marketplace? clarkkentdds
If anyone knows who bought the Supes #278 9.6 in the Comiclink Auction, I can pay 3X the winning bid to the new owner.(A $700 profit). I couldn't get my bid in fast enough because the darn server was too slow!!!

icefires
I won the Brave & Bold 117 9.6 and World's Finest 227 9.6. Lost on Wonder Woman 214 9.6. I wanted the B&B 117 bad so I put in a max of $476 figuring that would more than cover it since I was gambling in a casino (on vacation) when the auction ended....turns out I just barely won and this book cost me the entire $476. Must be some hardcore B&B collectors out there. I got the World's Finest 227 9.6 for $114. Very happy with that! Books that I thought would go for more: Superman 278 9.6 - $287 to Greggy (looks like Greggy dodged a bullet if the guy who was unable to bid was really willing to bid $1,000!). Adventure 416 9.6 - $357 to Arthur (was estimating $450-$500). Tarzan 230 9.8 - $350 to Greggy (looks like his agreement with Arthur paid off - Not too many Tarzan collectors out there!). World's Finest 227 9.6 - $114 to me. (I'll take it! Estimating $200-$250). Books that I thought would go for less: B&B 117 9.6 - $476 to me (Estimated $300 to $350). Wonder Woman 214 9.6 - $550 to ? (Estimated $400 to $450). World's Finest 223 9.6 - $325 to ? (Estimated $200-$250). World's Finest 226 9.8 - $810 to ? (Estimated $600-$650). World's Finest 228 9.6 - $400 to ? (Estimated $200 - $250). Brave & Bold 115 9.8 - $705 to Arthur (Estimated $600 to $650). Books about what I thought: B&B 113 9.8 - $452 to ? Flash 229 9.6 - $361 to ? icefires
Please tell us which books you won. You had no books for sale in the auction. You were only asking because you were interested in bidding. You guessed some of the books would go as high as $1,500 (not even remotely close!). Which books did you win?
