Let me be the first to publicly congratulate Doctor Watson on completing his Uncanny X-Men 94-143 run. I mailed one of my books to him earlier today [see scan below] and it was the last one he needed.

 

Doc is a class guy and he has made the Boards more interesting since he joined. In fact, he is probably one of my favorite Boardies after bronzebruce, mutantkeys, HOTG, greggy, mr. highgrade, KC, phoenix, Darthdiesel, ze-man, shiverbones, shin, valiantman and a few others. :devil:

 

But, seriously Jim. You deserved an award from CGC for your run even before it was completed. Now that it is finished, I think it is one of the finest bronze-age runs ever put together of any title, not just X-Men. I know Doug had a complete 9.8 run of 94-143, but you have paid so much attention to the QP and PQ of your issues, that I would rank your run higher.

:gossip: Actually, I figure that now that you've finished the run, you'll pull a Danny and sell them all after you get your award from CGC. My plan is to fly out to Tennessee next July, get you drunk on moonshine and buy the books I need to finish my run.
