Popular Post Darkga Posted September 13, 2020 Popular Post Share Posted September 13, 2020 (edited) I just bought this jacket that's from the Vampirella Blood Drive held at the NYC Comic Book Extravaganza back in 1995. I know there were limited edition promo items given to blood donors at the event, but I had never seen this jacket before. Maybe some of you who may have been there know a little history on it? Was it a raffle prize or something? Hopefully Gonzalo Mayo wore it himself! Either way I know what I will be wearing along with my Vampi t-shirt once comic conventions open back up... The label usually fits neatly into the top portion of the inner well and it's often heat-sealed on either side so it stays in the correct position. If for some reason it wasn't secured properly during encapsulation, it can tend to move around a bit. It's only a minor problem and really shouldn't affect the desirability of the book itself...
