Pre-Robin Tec enthusiasts: Pick a favorite and explain why?

I like ths one, unrestored:

 

 

A combo of rarity and coolness not approached by any other pre-Robin 'Tec. Some of the Batman covers are cooler but are substantially less rare unrestored, as seen by the multitude of copies posted on these boards over the past few months.

27 for me as well. It is my favorite book of any run.

31, closely followed by 18. In fact, the 31 has kinda been overexposed, which makes me lean towards 18 at this point.

I love the 31, but I'd say the 35 because not only is the cover killer, but the splash page may very well be the best Bat splash page ever: Smokin .45 pistol!

Detective 29 is my pick. It has Batman swinging through the window with his cape spread like wings.

My favorite is 'Tec 18. Evil Chinese mad scientist. I also like the welding torch cover to 30.

hello all...

steve and I know, what most every pre robin, post batman Tec collector knows...right now, this books is just darned IMPOSSIBLE to locate in unrestored vg or better condition at a reasonable price (or at just about any price, any unrestored condition, for that matter)...so, it is the "hunt" to locate one, that makes this book currently the most desirable for Steve...

I of course, am with Bill on this one...Tec 27 all the way, baby!
