Grade a Daredevil 2 !

Here's a Daredevil 2 I picked up at WonderCon last weekend...

 

Back cover is solid (no creases, stains, or other defects to speak of on the back at all), pages are off-white... *damage at top of cover is slight bends/folds to the overhang, not tears or chipping...Care to venture a grade?

hard scan. Corners rounded, small chip...8 to 8.5 my best guess. Nice book by the way, love the early DD

Tough to call thru the mylar and no back scan.. but I'd say VF from the front.

Is that a 'scuff' on the cover by Electro's right foot? Just noticed it.

mdandy: yes, there are two small scuff marks below Electro's nearest foot, and one below his 'rightmost' (on the cover, from the reader's standpoint) foot.

Looks like a solid 7.5 to 8.0 Great pick up! I wish I had it.

I bought this book in 1975 in what today we'd call a 9.0 or so, for $6 (about what it guided for, if not more). The one pictured above cost me 50x as much and isn't as nice... times have changed! (I sold the 9.0 in 1979 for $15, which at the time was a handsome profit )

I would say a 7.5 too.

 

I wonder what modern books will increase like this one?? There are bound to be some in 30/40 years time!!
