Two new books in my collection.

I snagged two off Heritage,

First Batman 14 to replace my 5.0 with slight restoration (will be selling soon). This one is the one on Mark's website.

Batman 14

Second is a Detective 79 with white pages. One towards my goal of ten new Detectives in my collection in 2006.

I go back to 43. I have about 20% from 27 to 100, 20% 100 to 200, 23% 200 to 300, and then almost complete up, so a lot more to go. If I can do ten major issues per year, I will be happy so this year I have to get at least one of the majors (27, yeah right, 29, 31, 33, or 38).

Norinn, apologies if you've answered this already, but which early Detectives are you after? Just curious...

I'm still trying to decide. The big one (either 31 or 33) will take a few years to save for, but I'm reading my Archives Volume II now. Some cool stories and covers like 58, 64, and 70. I really like the early Penguin appearances.

Thanks dude. The All-American #61 is restored, but is a vf/nm otherwise. Matt Nelson also did my More Fun #55 which was a real dog before hand. Here's some more stuff from my collectionfor you GGA collectors:

Thanks, nice to share these with you'all! I contributed all the Phantom Lady info to the first Overstreet and then Bill Black and I wrote an index in 1978. The book in the one photo is Robert Knigthers(sp) "Writing for the Comic Books". My Phantom Lady #23 is vf/nm bouth from a long-time TBG dealer...
