I recently saw this cover and knew I had to have one. The right copy came my way just a couple weeks later! I just tore this blue label 3.5 out of it's case! :cloud9:

Now that's a 3.5 anyone can love! (thumbs u

Nice Bill! I love that oversize Tracy!!

Like you, I had a new book in today... first of '09! I upgraded my SUPERWORLD #1 and am extremely happy with this copy (good paper, good colors)... especially at HALF of guide!

So many have come up for sale/auction during the last year, I'm really glad I held out for a clean, cheap copy.

Great book, Ryan! :applause:

You need to go for all three. I have them and I truley love the lot. The #3 will be the most difficult. While they are all listed as "Scarce", I feel that only the #3 desreves that designation (judging by my own search, the census and reviewing past Heritage Auctions, it is the least available issue of the run).

here's a cap I've had for a long time......was contemplating selling it, but think I've changed my mind after thumbing through it and seeing the centerfold etc.....

As luck would have it, I have the #2 and #3!! :cloud9: (forgive the bad, old scans below)

The #2 I am thinking about sending in to Susan C. for some work... needs cover cleaned and cover re-attached. Or I may wait for a nice upgrade down the road. My #3 is a bit soiled, but solid and supple, so I'm pretty happy to own that one.

I think you should post your run, Fuelman! :wishluck:

Piracy #6 Gaines file copy that I picked up recently...my favorite comic cover ever...

(I'm trying to figure out my new scanner...it is cropping the edges a bit. It really is a beautiful book.)

I also have a Gaines File copy of this - it's such a great cover! :applause:

Thanks.....and I am real excited about my second purchases of the year as I just bought a Jamboree #1 CGC 8.0 last week and then I found #2 listed in VF/NM condition and #3 "D Copy" in VF condition so that gives me the complete run :applause:

Here is a fun little batch, the first of 2009 to arrive, for my over-sized comic collection

I used to walk past those large issues but now I find they have a certain appeal.

I guess size does matter.
