Pretty book

thanks. tape pull on back-cover coupon makes 8.0 book a 5.0 book. but a much, much more affordable book as well.

I was going to say that the cover presents exquisitely for an 5.0 (worship)

Just picked this beauty up. I buy about 1 comic a year for the personal collection of GA 1st appearances of cartoon/cartoony characters in VF or better. I have my eye on another book right now so things are moving pretty good. This one took a while to find even available, let alone affordable.

1st Heckle and Jeckle

That's a beauty Ed :applause:

Had the privilege of picking up this super scarce book in late Dec last year.

2nd appearance of Green Lantern :cloud9:

a wonderful book (I think I had a 4.5, but I don't even remember)...not all that scarce as the "old" perception, but still, any copy is a good copy (thumbs u

I would be SOOOOOOOO tempted to crack that one out and read it :cloud9:

The archives GL edition 1 is keeping me happy for now. But I am too!

Usually very little buzz about this book.....Here is the Larson copy. jb

Thanks everyone for the comments on my 1.5 aa 17 copy and jb the larson is incredible!

Just married up this book. Loose and married cover but complete, no restoration, nice cover and nice interior.

Now I need a complete interior to Worlds Fair 1940. Anyone?

Bill, I think that's my old copy (though I don't recall the tape pull being colored that badly) - is the last page somewhat loose?

I bought my old copy from Dave 'The Dentist' Anderson and was not happy when I found undisclosed restoration, so I traded it away in disgust.

NYWF '39, NYWF '40, and WB 1 would make a great three book set... :cloud9:
