Is the inside art any good Mike ? The cover is fantastic :applause:

It's tough to top the cover but inside is a 10 page comic history of Hitler up through 1941.

Obviously, Jerry and Joe had thought about a scenario in which Lois and Sups could get married which would result in the Superwoman comic.

Perhaps our little imp could be tricked into giving her superpowers while he was her suitor as in Superman 51.

They thought about it as can be seen in this splash from Action 60.

Or this later splash where they find a blond hair version.

The logo and cover could have looked like this.

She's pretty buff in that pic. Looks like some of the muscle women of today.

And great Valentines Cover on the Action 71 :applause:

Lois looks slimmer wearing a tank top in her pictures in the story. However, she looks a little muscle bound in that splash and Sup is a little wilted.

I had to look it up:

Pencils:

George Roussos (signed as Joe Shuster)

Inks:

George Roussos (signed as Joe Shuster)

but I should have known -- it looks a lot like his artwork for GE Adventures in Science.

One of my fav EC's - crack and read that bad boy!

For all the "oversupply" of high grade Gaines Files copies you don't see a lot of copies coming up for sale in the auctions. In the CL auction this month there is only 4 or 5 issues.

Are you guys hoarding?

I've been working on getting caught up scanning recent purchases.

One of my favorite EC's! Graham Ingels rendition of Frankenstein is one of the best ever.
