Most of you know how I love yellow and red comics, so this fits very nicely into that set for me.

It is the Cookeville copy, and I love the first anniversary of Pearl Harbor date stamp :)

I know this isn't strictly GA, but neither is it SA.

Anyway, I am happy to have picked this up in a trade for some bronze age

Some would say it's the first book of the SA ....

I know is a complete beater, but believe it or not it is nicer than the only other copy I've owned (which was coverless)

Traded some SA comics for this one

I didn't know CGC did onsite grading anymore; do they do this at any other shows?

Beautiful copy btw, Bill. :applause:

I'm loving the Daredevils. I used to have some of the later issues but they weren't as great as these early ones.

Thanks Steve.

Yep, they do it at a handful of shows at least each year.

I had a few others graded as well and they came out just tasty. I'll post those tomorrow.

I picked another nice book, but didn't get a chance to snap a picture of it. Time had expired for getting them graded and returned today, and I'm not going back tomorrow, so I'll post it when it gets mailed out to me

That was one of the sweetest deals I've ever witnessed.

Thanks Geek. I've never been so excited about such a low grade book

Also came within shouting distance of landing a Marvel 1, but we just couldn't agree to terms. So, the quest is still on for that one
