I was looking some safes up online and I came across a model that has a built-in dehumidifier...thought that was cool Are you doing anything to prevent moisture? 143ksk Posted May 11, 2010 Share Posted May 11, 2010 I have a hygrometer in the safe to monitor humidity. There is a dehumidifier in the room and I tend to have the safe open regularly so it stays in a good moisture zone. There are also several boxes of dessicant in the safe. And, yes it's fire proof, but mostly it's for theft protection (although they'd have to get past the dogs first ) Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
