KennyRE317
this thread has certainly given me a goal of cleaning up my canection and making things more organized...eventually. This thread has actually inspired me to try and sell my house and buy a new one with enough space for a proper man cave rather than the spare bedroom I currently use. I have a decent sized room as an office and I pretty much used up all the available wall space and still use the guest room. I've already learned that the bigger your space the more stuff you'll buy to fill it all up

Ebel 1911
Merry Christmas to everyone. I wanted to share my Christmas 2012 display. I added some new books, comic art and hope that the display adds to the Christmas spirit of joy, hope and giving! God Bless and a Merry Christmas to all!! Bernard The side wall coming down the stairs before Christmas The side wall coming down the stairs after Christmas (thanks to my not so secret santa - Zeman!) Front wall coming down the stairs top to bottom Comic Art on the front wall at the Bottom of the stairs Comic Art on the other side wall heading up the stairs from the office , The "overhead" wall leaving the Comic Loft and heading into the office This is the wall in the office as you head towards the Comic Loft stairs This is on the same wall after you leave the office and enter the living room. This is the upstairs Christmas tree with the Christmas books behind and to the side. ( the upstairs living room is just outside the office area) Oh yeah almost forgot ComicDoc's alter ego is now SpyderDoc as this is my new Sleigh (few months old - pictures at Hampton Beach NH a few weeks ago!) What a great room! Quite a few of those bring back memories from years ago, especially that DC Holiday Special. The Archie OA series is very nice and so many of the Disney and Archie books have very fun and festive covers. Now I think I'm going to need to find a few choices and integrate them into our Christmas decorations next year! LOVE the Can-Am Spyder! I've seen that at the motorcycle shows for the past few years and would love one of those to join my Harley Street Rod but that's certainly not in the near future. I do love leaning but the 3 wheels seem to have lots of benefits and the originality of it is certainly high in the cool factor. Thanks for sharing! isiTrue
Got my room about done-- have had it for a few months, but was changing the shelved to fit the CGC boxes over the last week. I have room for 25 on display at one time, and I change it weekly, but mostly just for me. I pick a box and randomly select 25 books from it! An Onslaught 22K gold cover! That was the one book (well, technically two) I hoarded throughout the years before I came back to the hobby.
Reno McCoy
Now this is bliss. Phase two of the office renovation is complete. Now the fun begins. Gotta love an empty canvas. Wonder what I should put on those shelves. And look at all that wall space.

Bill1
And with gold so high, it is probably actually worth something! What are those plastic stands on top of the shelves? Are they originally designed for comics?
Bill1
Thanks! Here is a link for the plastic stands, which also hold CGC books fine. I imagine they are intended for brochures and booklets for sales literature, but they work great for this. This company shipped my original 25 out right away, but one arrived broken, and they replaced it no problem. http://www.beemak.com/c15_p1382/counter_top_slant_back_book_or_magazine_holder.html
