Nice looking artwork. :applause:

According to GCD, Gene Fawcette was the illustrator.

GCD credits Bob Oksner and Frank Frazetta as the artists on, "The Mark of the Dinosaurs." :o

And, for "The Freezer Gas" story they credit Ken Battefield as the penciler with inks by Frank Frazetta or Everett Raymond Kinstler. :o:o

BB, do you have scans of any pages from either of those stories?

The dinosaurs look like Frazetta art but the other pages don't show much work by Frazetta.

I think he worked on the splash of the first story but may or may not have worked on the second.

I may not know Fawcette's art when I see it. I didn't think that the Tara story looked like his work.

Perhaps I don't recognize inks by Frazetta but I would expect them to look more like his other work that he did for Nedor.

I see what you mean. hm

I have seen other work identified as being early Frazetta's inks that looks like the work on Jill Trent, but maybe it was misidentified?

I'll leave it to those who know more than me to decide. (shrug)

I love the text in these stories.

"Out in the limitless darkness of space...new, strange worlds exist...and on one of these broods Dr. Voodo and his evil companions, plotting endlessly the destruction of the universe." :insane:lol

"Jill Trent, Science Sleuth" hm

I wonder if selegue and Jill have met? :gossip:

No, but I'm smitten (even though she's "only" a blonde).

I don't think I've ever seen the feature before. Looks like fun.

Actually my first thought was to introduce her to ciorac. I'm a happily married man.

I'm no western fan, but I do love H. J. Ward's work, and who could resist that incredible logo!

That was the other reason it seemed like such a great match.

I liked the follow-up to the story. lol

Well, heck yeah! I'm sure I could think of lots of topics to discuss with a science sleuth like Jill.

Jack

Wow. It seems you work fast. In the span of ONE day, you've met her, married her, gone into business with her and they already are telling us stories about you guys. Fast, fast, fast, ... Hey, say, you've never told us about your dancing abilities (tsk)
