I'd love it if some publisher would release a book that collected all the better Centaur Publications stories in one volume (or maybe a series of volumes).

Just think of the artists they'd have to draw from: Everett, Burgos, Wolverton, Guardineer, Gustavson, etc.

If we got a volume of Fletcher Hanks then almost anything is possible!

Thanks for posting the scans of the interior pages -- the AMFs make for a fun read. Here's tthe Church copy for one of the "zero" submissions.

Have all your relatives returned home?

Or, maybe they're off in the kitchen chatting among themselves.

Whatever...it's time for another Pop Quiz.

Name the GA comic that this image is from.

Is this one a Christmas present?

I can't believe I beat all those Detective collectors to it.

You don't suppose that they were doing something social instead of haunting a message board on a Friday evening? -- nah.

Thanks for all the dancing produce!

BZ,

I noticed the Goldenagecomics.blogspot had a special program on Santa Claus funnies and Rudolph. I have some problems with my sound system and usually record their show on a CD and play it back but they have been fun to listen to.

INFORMATION COPIED BELOW:

Golden Age of Comics Books - December 23, 2007 - #55

In this episode of the Golden Age of Comic Books, we feature Santa Claus and Rudolph the Red Nosed Reindeer! Each had their own titles that ran for many years (until the 1960's) starting in the Golden Age of Comics. Santa Claus Funnies was published by Dell, and Rudolph the Red Nosed Reindeer was published by DC Comics. I hope you enjoy this Christmas fun from the Golden Age!
