interesting thought on pressing

So I was making myself a grilled ham and cheese on my panini press today when it struck me: I wonder if these things work on comics? I have to think that the press gets way too hot and will damage the paper.

 

Maybe I'll toss a crappy modern on there to see what happens. I just hope my sandwiches don't start tasting like 90's superman comics crazy.gif.
