Well it didn't meet the reserve. I can't believe that your reserve must be crazy high if 500 didn't meet it.

 

I was thinking about bidding on it but I could get many nice items for that type of money.

 

I just got a dave cockrum sketch and it didn't cost 1/4th that much.

Well the last time a blue label 9.8 of this book sold, it went for $490. Here you have a 9.8 signed by an artist that can no longer (unfortunately) sign anymore books, so forever and ever you are guaranteed the only known example of this book...there has to be some sort of premium associated for that. It's not even like the 9.6 that is floating around with a same signature can be cracked open and pressed to get the lofty 9.8. So for the same $500 as you put it, can you get the only known example of a book? Sounds like a helluva deal to me. smile.gif
