I fully recognize the importance of AF 15 and wouldn't vote for it until the very end. The second appearance of Spider-Man, however (and a krappy cover to boot)...

 

I'm certainly no Spidey fan, but the cover I rate non the less.

 

Still a mile better than X-men, and DD 1... IMHO.

Any issue that is #105 and doesn't include a 1st appearance of the title character has to go At least Adventure #247 includes a 1st appearance, granted a 1st appearance of a team that nobody cares about (unless you are over the age of 60)but a first appearance nonetheless

The problem is that there are too many suckass DCs, and JLA 1, Flash 105 and Adventure 247 are splitting the vote.

Read the Great Darkness Saga ($.40 cent covers so i guess it's a copper run) from Legion of Super-Heroes. It's one of the best arcs ever in comics IMO and I'm not a DC apologist.
