IS THIS A TRUE STATEMENT?

There is wear at the top spine corner and I bet the same (if not worse) wear at the bottom spine corner (which you can't see).

Also a mark on the white spine a little below the top staple.

And a crease on the S (could be the case with a scratch).

 

I think wear made it a 9.0.

I don't think miswrap is considered when grading.

Unless it was so bad some of the writing on the cover was cut off.

Then it would get a Qualified grade no???

Well, Steve said that a HULK 181 that they graded could have got a 9.8..... if not for the miswrap.

 

Just wondering if the seller believes that CGC downgrades for miswraps.....? 893scratchchin-thumb.gif

They must have because that looks like a solid 9.2, maybe 9.4 to me(from what I can see).
