I might drag you from your home and beat you senseless on the street, but I'd never stoop to arson.

 

That's logical. You should steal everything of value first.

 

At that point, you've got a U-Haul full of stuff, you can't be lighting a fire and driving away quickly.

That U-Haul won't go over 55mph, so you might as well leave the guy tied to a wheel

of the trailer and take your time driving home.
