Sweet Christmas, it's time to separate the Bronze Age men from the boys in a no-holds-barred fight for 1970's supremacy. The rules are like the participants, extremely simple, so just vote for the comic book you think is least important/influential/cool/whatever, and want to see taken off the list.

Remember, vote for what you no likey! The runt of the litter, the red-headed stepchild, the last guy picked for gym, the ... you get it.

This first round will go until Sunday night at 8 PM EST, and for the early rounds, the two highest vote getters will be summarily dismissed.

I voted for MTU #1 as I don't see the big deal with Spidey "Brave & The Bold". Marvel characters had already crossed over into each others books with a lot of regularity and the "team-up" concept was already well under way at DC.

Disregard what I said about only getting 1 vote. I must have had the "I'm with stupid" shirt on. lol

You convinced me!

(Though I still think JO 135 doesn't belong on the list. I just checked and Darkseid has a single panel speaking appearance in 134, and a 2-panel appearance in 135 + one additional off-camera piece of dialogue in a 3rd panel. Hardly a big step up in importance from 134 to 135)

and i even LIKE Moon Knight. but he's a c list character at best. right up there with X-Men 120 and Conan 24 in the importance factor afaiac

I went with New Gods as I haven't the slightest idea what the book is about nor do I have any desire to find out.

So far, and it's way early, no votes are surprising me.

I'm surprised at all the votes New Gods has received. Kirby's move to DC was one of those events that signified the Silver Age was well and truly over.

For me, it's ASM 101. First Morbius. zzz Should never have been in the list in the first place.
