I was so excited to see the first issue of this series pop-up on feebay!

Teen-age Romance Comics #1:

The cover is easily matched to the USA St John Publishing comic titled "Teen-age Romances" (#2 - April 1949), this Australian comic has a locally redrawn/swiped cover and black and white interiors.  The interiors on this book do not completely match the St John Publishing book, and perhaps I'll get over to Grand Comic Database (GCD) to add the index for this Young's Merchandising/Jayar Studios/Gordon & Gotch publication.  I noticed that this exact copy is the one that's been uploaded on GCD.  I do not see a date on this, but I imagine the "6d" price would give it an estimated date range.

I have no idea exactly when the title changes to match the USA title, but GCD notes a series by Magazine Management that is indexed beginning with issue #7, AND an indexer put a note on that series indicating the same belief of a title change.

The first interior story matches the USA TAR#2, "I Dared to Kiss and Tell" (which is the story that matches the cover scene):

Poor quality reproduction of Matt Baker's art, but the scarcity of this book makes up for the "let-down".  The writing in the margin is pretty funny too, "Back to childhood days"  xD

Next Baker story is "I Didn't Want a Stepfather" (which appears to be from Teen-age Romances #3):

...and then "Spitework was my Folly" (also from Teen-age Romances #3):

Not your typically illustrated Baker guy on that last story, and the story concludes on the back cover (nice print plate sizing on that red plate):

This is another of those large-sized Aussie comics which I have to keep in a magazine sized bag and board.

Structurally solid copy with lots of staining and scattered tears, I'd give this sweet book a 4.0.

im too lazy to look up completed listings so how much?

I grabbed it with another from the Magazine Management series that followed.  I'm also too lazy to look up the completed listing (and the exchange value from AUS to USD), but my recollection was that I got both for about $100 each (shipping included, because that counts when you're dealing with oversea shipping).
