  1. Hearing a lot of good buzz about this Godzilla picture, some saying it might be the best of all time. Can't wait until it gets to the States, so I can watch it.
  2. It's getting close to The Walking Dead #1 in price. It's pretty cool that both Invincible and The Walking Dead are both created by Robert Kirkman.
  3. I don`t think it`s a fad as the comic book debuted in 2003. It`s like Spider-Man and X-Men as they are both here to stay. I remember my old uncle in the late 1980s telling me Wolverine was a fad to his Tarzan and we know how that turned out. lol.
  4. Walking Dead wasn't a dud though. Will outlast a lot of our Marvel superheroes. It's a whole new world to explore like Star Wars.
  5. Agree with your points, but The Walking Dead is something special like Deadpool as it broke out big to the modern mainstream audience. If I had to pick 2 comics post 1990s. It's The Walking Dead #1 and New Mutants #98. Both have young fan bases and once those fanbases get older and get that disposable income look out. A similar thing happened with Pokemon and Magic The Gathering. Both looked down upon like 15 to 20 years ago and now both make huge coin.
  6. Looking forward to your review. I got this on my Christmas list.
  7. Has multiple spin off shows and multiple video games. Also a 24/7 streaming channel on Pluto TV. Walking Dead #1 would make a great long term investment 20 years from now when the majority of their fans hit their 30s and 40s and have disposable income. Walking Dead #1 has a print run under 8,000.
  8. I think Thor really gets good like two years from this issue. Thor like #125 to #177 there is a huge difference in quality compared to #105.
  9. On a personal note, this was my late grandfather`s favorite Marvel Comic. As I was reading Spider-Man as a kid he was reading Thor as an adult. He always told me how they did a great job with the Norse mythology.
  10. I love Carmine Infantino`s art and what he contributed to the comic book industry, but yeah he fell asleep at the wheel when it came to pulling the plug early on Kirby`s New Gods books.
  11. That was pretty good dialogue. Jack didn`t need Stan for dialogue. It`s becoming clearer and clearer that Stan needed Jack more.
  12. I get a kick out of the response " Now Stan will NEVER let me put my name first!" I am pretty sure that`s not Jack answering back, but it`s most likely Stan?
  13. I remember calling up the DC 1-900 Hotline for this to vote does Robin live or die? That was a pretty good story and caused a lot of controversy, as well as a lot of PR in the comic book community.
  14. Here is a review of the first book. It`s really getting popular. Think of how the buzz was about The Walking Dead before it exploded into pop culture history. This manga also has an anime show that is just as popular.
  15. Here is a popular Manga character right now. Sold over 25 million copies in the last few years. Marvel and DC would love those sales. https://comicbook.com/anime/news/chainsaw-man-manga-sales-tatsuki-fujimoto/ Chainsaw Man is on the rise. In the wake of season one, Tatsuki Fujimoto's hit franchise is thriving, and there is more to come. Anime fans are begging for more content, and when it comes to the Chainsaw Man manga, Denji is working through a new arc these days. And thanks to the series' success, Chainsaw Man has hit record. Sales with just 15 volumes to its name. The update comes from Chainsaw Man straight as the manga just released its 15th volume in Japan. A special ad was included in the volume overseas, and it confirms the manga's sales figures. There are currently 26 million copies of Chainsaw Man in circulation, so copies of the manga are flying off the shelves still.
  16. The first three I liked. WandaVision, The Falcon and the Winter Soldier, and Loki Season 1. After that, it`s been all downhill. I used to get excited whenever a new Marvel Disney show or movie was announced. Now I am not feeling it. The bloom is off the rose.
  17. I wonder if Wally Wood's estate ever got paid later for designing the iconic red Daredevil costume? It's night and day better than the yellow costume. I think Stan really pulled a fast one on Wally Wood not only getting Wally Wood to plot the stories, but getting the iconic red Daredevil iconic costume for pennies on the dollar. Daredevil in the red costume has made Marvel multi- millions.
