  5. I find this group interesting because they come from 3 different collections that I have seen. First is the Eldon Collection ( Treasure 6), next is the Sonny Hainley collection (Treasure 2) and last is the United Collection. Eldon is well known but I have seen Sonny issues in collections I have bought and Weiss auctions. The United Collection (5) must be from a Pennsylvania magazine stand due to its local abundance.
  6. You need covers.... I only have one page from Detective 38.
  7. That looks great. Does anyone have the Snow White issue of Mickey Mouse Magazine. How much of the story did they reprint in there? I'll answer my own question. Snow White was primarily a text story with some illustrations apparently. I found this scan on ebay.

  9. Some of the early Dell Four Colors and movie adaptions are fun stories. In no particular order: Snow White Bambi and Bambi's Children Pinocchio Snow White Meets the Seven Dwarfs Three Caballeros Also: Mickey and Beanstalk is good fun and Mickey's Sky Adventure is worth a read. I enjoyed the MIckey and the Beanstalk cartoon and the Three Caballeros got a lot of play on TV.
  10. I think I have copies of all of the stories but the last Christmas story is in one of the Giant reprint issues from Gladstone.
  11. and I must confess, I enjoyed those Lulu stories that featured the Witches. I think they reminded me of some relatives.
  12. I've enjoyed this Donald Duck story for years and watch the cartoon whenever I get a chance. Glad they reprinted the uncensored version, too.

  16. All from my original collection purchased at the local drug store.
  17. I wouldn't mind having the flying gig starting in Action 30 or 65 but Action 123 seems too late.
