  1. These look good but a couple have pretty nice color copy covers (back, front and interior).
  2. The 9 Good job Bill...the other planets have the original covers and a couple of them have two (one is a little beat up tho).
  3. The 39? are all the WF copies? No and No. Some of the WF are original covers and some are copies.
  4. I was looking for a nice Black Cat 1 cover when this one took off on me. Not sure who made it and if it was posted before. But I liked it enough for another post.
  5. and several of these are copies. Better than the original in some cases.
  6. One of these covers is a really nice copy. Can you Guess which one?
  7. I couldn't make the Captain America 100 club so I will have to be happy with posting a group shot with my 109.
  8. I had to search for it but found these silver age gems in one of the Marvel boxes. Not great condition but hopefully good enough to get me in the club.
  9. stupendous! how many years did it take to build that run? beautiful collection Bedrock! I like the FF stories from 16-28. Many were cross-overs from other comics.
  10. Which issue is that? I don't think I've seen it before. I posted that one back on page 12.
  11. I like that cover. It reminds me of this Baker Northwest Mounties cover.
  12. I had this book in low grade and sold it with another Baker cover. I am not that picky about the grade but sometimes sell before the upgrade is purchased and end up with nothing. I have turned to a life of crime....comics to fill the void. The other war comic that I like is Approved issue with the Leatherneck Jack story.
  13. Jim Hardy was especially good when drawn by Richard Moores. All three of these classic strips are pretty good.
  14. Issue 5 is one of my favs. I think this is one of the few wash covers done by Baker.
  15. and I still have my subscription issues. I think a few have my name stamped on the back.
  16. and it seems difficult to tell that the robot was the good guy in this pic.
  17. I didn't have trouble finding that one but the later Teenage Romance issues have avoided me.
  18. The ladies deserve a group shot. After all, posing for Barks was a tough job.
  19. That's a beauty. Do you have the Mystery in Space issue to go with it?
  20. Flash was my favorite character back in the sixties.
  21. I love those All Star Comics but I didn't discover them until Jerry Bails published his All Star Index in the early sixties. However, the two below aren't very pretty but they are comics that I read in the fifties and saved.
  22. Some of the early issues with JSA and Kanjar Ro stories were my favorites. I still have a lot of these that I purchased at the local drug store.
  23. Can we combine our Batman with our Detectives or show group shots? I think this is an old large logo group shot. I probably have a few more to add. I've owned that Joker cover for almost 50 years, by the way. It probably cost $5 or less.
  24. Peter Pat has a lot of strange things going on.
