  1. I live by certain rules. One rule is that I do not try to control other people. I believe people can do whatever they like as long as it does not cause physical harm to anyone else. As to these types of sellers, I still hardly ever see anyone on eBay using women in their photos to sell comics. I'm a guy so yeah, scantily clad women don't offend me. I have never had the desire to buy a book from a seller that uses this tactic either. I don't think that it sells their books, but maybe I'm wrong. It's no different than hiring girls to dress up at comic conventions.

I'll agree and @Shinwar doesn't often do that, it's just a video rather than pics.

But I agree with your sentiment for sure ^^

I was hoping there was a grey area, and I'm not even on YouTube but I've heard no complaints for those who post in correct areas idk. I'm just mulling it over 😂

Yes it would be ok to post a video if you plan on responding to a post you created. But to ask a question and then to ignore all responses is an obvious spam thread.

1 year seems very long. Not sure I fancy it out of my hands for that length of time! Will check with CGC in London if that’s the case and will leave if not. I know they have to ship to the US which adds on time, but 1 year!! Think Heritage seems the best best to sell to the USA and minimise my risk of anything going wrong. Guessing a seller won’t walk away on it for the sake of a $100 dollar case

The CGC turnaround time for re-holder is listed as 79 work days, but there are reports on the "Current turnaround rates" thread as being much longer. 169630727_2022-04-01(2).thumb.png.4d87aa10892d8d1437403c82bff131ef.png

  4. Sending the book to CGC for a re-holder can take up to a year to get it back. Is it worth the wait? I would look into selling it for 100 dollars less than the current market value and whoever buys it can go through the headache of a re-holder. This is just my opinion, but that crack isn't even that big or distracting to me.

@steveinthecityweren't all these Mark jewelers insert issues sold on military bases?  Wouldn't they all have that?

    Thanks for the answer.

I can tell you that mine had star stamps on them, but the ink broke down and separated off of the book. Its hard for me to describe, but in my situation I kept them in poly bags and i would actually see the ink come loose and roll onto the plastic. Hopefully someone else has seen what I am referring to and can explain it better.

So by your logic In-N-Out Burger just kept raising prices until they got to a $20 burger because they could?

I don't disagree that BlackRock is poised to do this, just thinking about actual successful businesses that don't keep inflating prices for short term profit as the long game is worth so much more.

Sure, In-N- Out can raise their prices. They only have about 25 other burger joints to compete with, so why not?

While scanning my phone on Friday when I got caught up in this one, I also noticed a few other auctions for big key books with prices that seemed too appetizing.  Looking at them now, they have the same red flags (big key books, free shipping, external website, zero feedback).

    These look fishy as well:

I reported both links to eBay
