  1. Kudos to namisgr for a very sweet ASM #123...from his OO collection.
  2. Kudos to comicgrinder who gave me a great deal on a lot of Caps--including a freebie #129 in high grade. All wrapped in about a mile of bubble wrap. May your funds be fully raised--and then some--for Baltimore.
  3. The Red label was switched to Blue several years ago... I know that. But it's listed online as modern. I guess it's just a misprint. It just means that it is a modern tier (Post 1975) book. Post-1974 book.

  5. (thumbs u I'll toss in some..... whatever it is you're collecting this week as well. This is to both of your selling threads. Even with the strong possibility of a Supergirl or two? This is for you even asking that question.

  7. I'm gradually closing in on it; I need these 25 issues (to have #1-566)--20 Silver Agers and 5 more recent ones: #2-7 9 12-13 15-16 18-21 23 27-28 31 54 Vol. 2 #15 19 29 #531-532 This will be especially sweet since, like a knucklehead , I once, back in '92, had a complete set (#1-362) but sold off many of my early ones that year. Oh, and a big thank you to RikkiB, who GAVE me #561-566 which I needed because my LCS has been closed since early this summer.

  9. A big-time kudos to RikkiB for an unexpected very generous gift that just arrrived--in the form of some latter day ASMs I didn't have because my LCS closed down this summer.
  10. I'll keep the kudos to cd4ever rolling...just received my package with three very sweet DCs: an Action, an Adventure, and a Tec. And also a kudos to bigfiver69 for another DC, a very nice copy of Our Army at War #250.
  11. Kudos to the following for their recent packages: --kimik for a very sweet copy of DD #158 and a nice Neal Adams Superman with Supergirl. --Monster's Coll for a HG Tomb of Dracula and some affordable mid-grade keys I've never owned until now (DD #131 and IF #14). --DKB for two Bronze Age ASMs.
  12. It's only been since Thursday? I would't worry at all (yet).
  13. All three of these fellas included freebies in my packages that I just received, and also packed the books extraordinarily well--many kudos, in other words, to: --capt_comics for an easy, smooth trade (ASM freebies ) --comicgrinder for some Bronze & Silver sweetness (Sub-Mariner freebies ) --nik for some of his usual nice books (Sgt. Rock freebie ) Three cheers for doing business on the boards... :golfclap:
  14. Leave some of those HG Spideys for the rest of us, the unwashed masses.
  15. Kudos to ArAich for my first copy of Detective Comics #359. First Batgirl. And a thank for the freebie as well.
  16. Kudos out to blue808 for a sweet copy of ASM #106--about time I upgraded my copy ( Who doesn't need an upgrade on this issue?--man, it's a tough one). And thanks for the ASM #226 freebie as well! And kudos to capt_comics for his overly generous gesture of helping a brother out: he lent me his display set up at a recent con in Greenville, SC (my first show in many years)--and refused payment. For those not in the know, capt_comics / Rick is the co-promoter of this Greenville show--next one is Sat. Nov. 1--check the "Events" thread.
  17. Kudos out to Jeranimal for an undergraded Iron Fist #15--at a crazy low price. :hail:
  18. Grinder, do you own a printing press? Just saying ... seems like lately you're just printing the stuff up. You ain't kidding.
  19. Ditto kudos for DKB! And kudos to 1CoolEngineer for some more Bronze Age goodness.
