  1. so when do we start the Green Lantern #7 sinestro thread?
  2. whats the going rate for a cgc 3.0, so we can compare to the Showcase 22 cgc 3.0 that just sold for $1250 on Ebay?
  3. I predict even a low grade 1.0 or 2.0 will go for a grand in two years just like the low grade AF#15.
  4. bumped for an amazing thread. a lot of the stuff that was talked about this book was predicted right on the money. Unbelievable that some people 5 years picked this as a key and were right. some people even had ryan reynolds as Deadpool in 2004. the only thing I disagree about this thread, is now that time has past, this book is a key copper book and not a key modern.
  5. nice copy.what`s a 9.0 go for nowadays? I am looking something in that grade range.
  6. wow! this is gigantic news! I wonder will this be good or bad? I also wonder if Dave Sim would ever sell Cerebus if someone offered him 60 million for it?
  7. so whats a CGC 9.8 and CGC 9.6 Walking Dead #1 going for now?
  8. I think people are waiting right before the movie to sell them so they can maximize profits.
  9. Three pages back. It did not generate much interest yet. I wonder if we will see some census creep. Are there some books in mylar that will be shook free and give us a 9.4 or 9.6. The census should be updated any day now. Showcase 22 is difficult to locate in high grade (9.2 and above) is because of the black, green, and grey cover. I really thought my copy had a chance to be a 9.0, but just not quite there. Imagine if no copy ever surface above a 9.0...then holders of 6.0+ club will be well rewarded. On another note, If you look at the 6.0+ list in the club, very few copies exist with ow/white pages. There is a SC22 2.5 (the only other white pager) with white pages out there and I'm willing to pay $2500 for it. Isn`t unbelievable that this book lay dormant all these years then WOW! That`s why I love collecting comics.
  10. with the movie 2 years away, this book will stay of fire till at least 2011.

  12. wow! this thread has caught and passed the AF15 thread. the power of Green Lantern.
  13. 11, 12, 13, 14, 15, 17, 18, 20 have Moon Knight in The Hulk / Rampaging Hulk Magazines. They are from 1978-1980 so between his origins in wwbn and his first series. And it's Sienkiewicz art? Whoa, you're changing my life here. Must...buy...Hulk...mags... 13, 14, 15, 17, 18 and 20 are Bill Sienkiewicz that have Moon Knight in them. 11 and 12 are done from someone else thus why I think one of the reasons they where never reprinted. My favourite part of the Hulk Mags is 15, 17 and 18 where Marc Spector kills his own brother which are reprinted in the Moon Knight Special Edition #2. That was my first Moonknight story I read and it was unbelievable, the art was fantastic! if there is ever a Moonknight Omnibus, I hope they include those.
  14. 11, 12, 13, 14, 15, 17, 18, 20 have Moon Knight in The Hulk / Rampaging Hulk Magazines. They are from 1978-1980 so between his origins in wwbn and his first series. yeah those were awesome! I think they have been reprinted in a MoonKnight Essential?
  15. Totally agree, I loved those MK backups in the Hulk mag.
  16. the Finch Variant is nice. he seems to know how to draw MK.
  17. Seriously, you are no better than this guy. Sexual harassment will not be tolerated on these boards. Whats going on here? Psh! That's nothing! Anyhow, I never got into Thundercats. Another book that will be a wise investment.Movie upcoming. No, I'm too busy buying books that matter to me. I do both, I made a good sum of money on GI JOE and Transformers this year but still got to read some nice Archie books with the profits. Archie 600 ruled!

  19. Good question, but dare I say my dad has a rather unique email address? I'm not sure of many American's with the name 'Roxette' in their email. But even if it was a case of mistaking identity, wouldn't the seller notice eventually? Well if he seems to think that he has a deal struck with someone, then obviously he didn't just make it up unless he's been sitting around smoking dope for the last month non-stop. Or at least I'd think he didn't just make it up. It's possible he saved your dad's e-mail address in a address book and mislabeled it. Like if you saved mine under Bob Jones you might just see Bob Jones in your address book instead of my e-mail address. I'd still call him. Call him to do what? Get in a shouting match over books he never asked for and doesn't want? There are times when it's best to let things go. This is one of those times. Nothing good would result from a phone call. That is some of the best advice you can give and more people should use it. btw I love your avatar.
  20. Let us know what the grade is when you get it back.
  21. I love it. But this is why I think you are drunk all the time. I take multi-vitamins & drink 4-5 cups of coffee a day. The same with me, don`t need alcohol. (thumbs u
