Goodness, beautiful black cover. 8.0-8.5. Just depends how CGC grades the staple stress.

Seems like a scratch in the 2nd picture under the No. 1. If you were to crack this book, 9.4 max with that scratch plus stacking crease.

C&P to an 8.0

I’m not sure if you have already, but I would have the experts on other parts of the forum including here to see if there is restoration. This book is in remarkable shape given its age. It is at-least a 7.0 with a chance at 8.0. Seems too good to be true, especially with that black cover.

It can be hard to tell what's printing & what's not, but if it's consistently glossy across the area, there's a better than average chance it's a printing defect of some kind. Really would need it in hand with a light and magnifying glass to get a better idea. Just part of the limitations of online grading.
It’s an ink blotch. I posted a Batman 189 that had a very similar error. It is printing.

7.0 Definitely not VG+ as the eBay description states. More F+ to VF-

8.5 as is press to a 9.0

8.0 but I would be weary about sending this book. I have never seen a top edge of the cover that cut off before. Seems like to trimming to me. Doesn’t make sense why the CCA stamp would be cut off like that?

9.2 I thought modok was confirmed for the movie…

8.0-8.5 post press.

7.5. This book is great at hiding those spine tick defects. Maybe an 8.0 on a good day.
