  1. Jack Sparling is another great cover artist. Here's one of those I don't see posted very often (It's Late SIlver but what the heck) Tales of the Unexpected 99
  2. I think PS 22 may be my favorite Aparo cover. Great stuff! That Adventure Spectre run is a must have.
  3. Here's a few other Nick Cardy covers that I don't see poping up very often.
  4. Nestor Redondo is great. I know have have some slabbed Swamp Things and other titles somewhere...
  5. Nick Cardy is great. A lot of his covers have a similar vibe with the damsel up front and centered. Here's a pic of one of his Romance covers which reminded me a bit of some of his horror titles.
  6. I think another underrated artist is Luis Dominguez. Especially his earlier stuff. It's fun trying to find the small "LD" thats in most every cover Rosa copy...
  7. Kaluta is really underrated, some of my favorite covers come late in the series.
  8. I would be very careful about putting big money into many Marvel keys right now. X-Men 4 at this time would be a very poor investment to buy. I would even argue X-Men 1 isn't the greatest investment especially in low grade. That's not too say there still isn't some good deals out there. But its a time to be extra careful.
  9. Looks like fun! Thought I would show this. Here my Chinese Laserdisc of Mortal Combat.
  10. There's 4 different Cara Dune figures. Black Series (Her best figure) Now hitting as high as $225 Black Series Credit collection (Her paint scheme looks like the end credits) Not hard to pick up now for $75 3 3/4 size Vintage collection (The smaller old school size) Not hard to pick up now for $75 Retro Collection (Made to look like the old 70's/80's figures) Not yet released Sadly no S.H. Figuarts
  11. I passed on those latest cover variants, too much! Checked Wal-Mart and nothing yet. (The market will get flooded soon I suspect)
  12. If it can be slabbed its hot. Which is kind of sad since a lot of great collectibles are missing out.
  13. Just an example, recently I picked up an 89 Topps Turtles sealed set for $15. Now I see it going for about 10X that. GI Joe Impel 91 Boxes going for $45 weeks ago are hitting $150-$200. A PSA 10 Snake Eyes (card 41) went for $250 which will be a steal compared to the next one. I even see the Jim Lee X-men boxes going for a nice chunk of change. PSA Star Wars cards I sold a week ago going for double+. PSA Star Wars cards I bought last week are going for double+.
  14. It seems to be carrying over to most everything non-sports 70's to early 90's. From 1991 unopened GI Joe boxes, to Turtles cards you name it. Its gone super nova.
  15. Some good books mentioned, I would add the Allentown tec 27. Long rumored to be a 9.6 copy. I'll have to think about others, but I'm sure there's more.
  16. One cool thing missing from a Don Rosa slabbed book is the fun little Certificate
  17. Gotta keep the fun going. Here's a great later cover by Luis Dominguez. How could anyone not like this
  18. Thanks for the responses. I've got I think around 10 of these total. Always open to offers. Best
  19. She wasn't going to be in the Mandalorian going forward, (a least wasn't key in the near future) but she was going to be part of the Rangers of the New Republic. Wasn't essential, but certainly a set back on THAT series. So not sure what they are going to do. I hate to see this kind of stuff happen. Regardless of social views. Its something that will likely need to be addressed in some form. Either her death or a recast will happen.
  20. Ian was entertaining, but certainly not the sharpest tool in the box. Personally I would like Neal Adams to come back so I can continue debating him with his wacked out expanding earth theory.
  21. The 1993 Masterpiece box is back up for sale. There was a bit of confusion, but all is good and Djohnson is going to buy some 1992 Masterpiece from me instead.
  22. I'm hoping to have mine by Friday. Very nice figure from the looks of it. S.H.Figuarts really out did themselves again.
  23. I'm hoping someone a lot smarter than me can give me a background on these. I know just enough to get me in trouble on Pokemon cards. I got these the other day (plus more) with some other stuff I bought. Not really positive what they are. I've got an idea but maybe someone can help. Any value ideas might help as well.
  24. OK lets try one more box. This one is for a wonderfully preserved 1994 Fleer Spider-man Jumbo Box. Nice white back and still fully sealed. These have 36 packs. These are also larger packs with 12 per pack card count instead of the normal 8. Plus they have chase card exclusives only to jumbo packs. $500 w/ free shipping. SOLD (Won't find a better deal!)
