These are some pics from the Colfax collection I found. I have dozens more photos, but here are a few highlights. Short story, friend moved into parents house. Parents were horders who saved everything they ever had. Basement was full of comics mixed in with magazines and tons of old junk. The further we dug the older the stuff. I pulled out most of these myself. Mixed in with a dead rat, I climbed over old Jr High books. I went back 5 times and found 4 or 5 stashes. These are from batches 1,2 and 3 I believe. Thats a coverless Superman 1 BTW

Lets see the All Star 8 was CGC 2.0 X-Men 1 CGC 8.0 I thought it was a joke when she sent me photos because she sent me a pic the day after the WW trailer dropped. But likely everything turned out to be real and in better shape than I thought. The owner (who sold them to me) used to work the register at a comic store in the 1980's and bought these straight from customers who came in.

Ventress was in the first Clone Wars Cartoon, Vos's appearance was based on a character in The Phantom Menace on Tatooine but really had his first app in comics. Much of the Solo movie was taken from the West End Role Playing game. Dark Troopers was taken from the video game Dark Forces. Exar Kun was mentioned in the Sith Aurebesh within Drydon Vos's artifacts. There are dozens of call backs from EU, some easter eggs, some big that would fill multiple posts. Never counted how many total characters are taken from EU, but its more than you think. Sometimes its also an evolution of an idea. Sort of like comics history. -

Star Wars Rebels 1 from Egmont UK is the one to get. But it never shows up for sale. (Pre dates Kanan 1) -

Insider is bigger but insides are basically very close. Galaxy Magazine also has variants like limited signed copies, newsstands and direct. So the limited signed version of issue 5 has a little more demand because of an early Thrawn bio. But overall they carry little value. -

Some issues of Star Wars Insider has story but most do not. Issues have a least 3 versions with newsstand being by far the most common. Newsstand Subscriber PX version A few examples of some valuable ones right now tend to be 95, 103, 140, 159, 195, 199, Most issues before 95 hold little value. There's more but these tend to stand out. Some of the PX and Subscriber can be quite tough to track down. UK also has different variations as well. -

True, but even without the store foil/virgin you still have the regular PX Peach variant (same cover just not foil/Virgin). Issue 201 starts a new High Republic Story as well. I'm wondering if Star Wars Insiders are going to be more of a thing in general now. As various back issues have certainly reached new highs. -

A valid point but its also a variant of the alt cover. But a couple of those High Republic store variants have been bonkers. $200-$300+ -

I just saw 35 copies sell at $20-25 in minutes on E-bay. I had to buy at least a couple myself. Solid Cover. -

Star Wars 10 1:25 seems to be selling for $50-70 I'm curious to see how well Star Wars Insider 200 does when it hits next month on Feb. 10th. It's got a Mandalorian foil cover by Peach and part 2 of the Star Wars High Republic story from 199. -

Same here. When the copies did finally arrive not one copy made it past the subs at both stores. Nothing left over. In fact unless you pre-paid, you weren't guaranteed a copy. -

Our local Stores in the area were delayed with shipments and then shorted a bit on orders. Crazy. Everyone got DC books first. Then Marvel books came way late today around noon. -

Star Wars Insider 199 continues to do well, with even the regular copy selling for $30 to $40. Which is about triple from a few days ago. -
