I tend not to post rumors much, but Robert Downey Jr. is in early talks to play a Star Wars Universe role. Thrawn is a possible role according to a couple sources today. Might be BS, but still, something very interesting and worth mentioning.

Modern Star Wars Comics that are heating up

Not sure how people find final prices on E-bay now. But, here's the trick I use. Go to the original listing. View Source Find "taxExclusivePrice" And the final price will be right next to it. -

Going to be very very tough to find 9.4 or better copies. I would guess if a 9.6 (or if a 9.8 exists?) pops up it would get something that would shock people. The vast majority of the copies I've seen are in the VF to VF/NM range. It will be interesting to see what these Advance copies go for in the future as well. Final price for this dinged copy. $250.00 https://www.ebay.com/itm/Star-Wars-The-High-Republic-Adventures-1-Uncorrected-Advance-Copy-NotforResale/274632798751?hash=item3ff163f21f:g:Cd4AAOSwyo5f7zX8 -

I wished they had her compete when she was a young adult with a mask hiding her face, more like the original origin story.- 1,311 replies

Yes this is an exclusive story to the magazine. Starlight: Part One - Go Together a prequel to the upcoming novel. Written by Charles Soule. Issue 201 also has an original High Republic story, this one by Cavan Scott Here's a review with the first page at top https://www.fanthatracks.com/reviews/literature-art-reviews/book-review-star-wars-the-high-republic-starlight-part-one-go-together/ -
WONDER WOMAN 2 directed by Patty Jenkins (11/1/19)
Rip replied to Bosco685's topic in The Movie Forum
I wanted to like this movie but in the end it was just really BAD on most every level. This is my LEAST favorite modern DC movie. So many problems with pacing, shot construction, story, direction, score, and overall thought process. It was shocking in its goofyness not seen since maybe Superman IV. Awkward scenes galore. If it didn't have a few big name actors, it felt like one of those direct to video sequels in the 80's. (Maybe that was the goal?) I was thinking afterwards, wow remember that crazy year of 1984, when everyone got wishes and the world almost ended. I'll give it a D/D- maybe. The only reason it doesn't get an F is because it had a couple decent action sequences and had a few actors I otherwise really like. Overall I feel DC gets a bad rap but this one feels well deserved. I don't know if it was because certain things were rushed or what the hell happened here, but damn.- 1,311 replies

So strange to see 1980 Newsstand 9.8s get a premium, as newsstands were more common at that time. If someone offered you close to $3K I would likely take it. But I wouldn't sell until the rumored 6 episode Fett mini-series is made official which should be soon. -
