Disney + announces 20 Marvel and Star Wars shows, is it too much?
Rip replied to drotto's topic in The Movie Forum
All those series from Marvel had too many fillers no question. Hopefully a 6-8 format at 30-45 min avoids that. -
The regular issues sure, there are so many of those. I'm shocked its worth what it is right now in 9.8. But if you count the 35 cent variants on those then the Vader Luke Han etc win out.

We've already had a more extreme TV watching in Marvel properties. And many of these hours aren't connecting as tightly as Marvel did with Defenders. Marvel had Daredevil, Jessica Jones, Iron Fist, Luke Cage & Punisher at 13 episodes a season, roughly an hour each. Not even counting the many others like Agents of Shield. -
FX/Hulu's ALIEN show by showrunner Noah Hawley (TBD)

I'm still waiting for this movie. I remember everyone being blown away at this teaser. -
I really liked this one. Rick Famuyiwa really knocked it out of the park. Bill Burr was also fantastic, I hope to see more of him.

It's not too much in the slightest. They only have around 8 episodes a season. (Some are more limited) This is over a few years. I've read more in a couple weeks at the comic store then what I see being released in the next couple years for upcoming Star Wars and Marvel. More than anything I'm hoping for quality. And I (or anyone else) certainly doesn't have to watch then all, just like I don't need to collect and read every DC or Marvel comic to enjoy those. -
A few interesting books people might want to find: Iron Man 225 black box (Not for resale) variant, Rouge Squadron 1/2 platinum. Secret Invasion 1 Heroclix

A TV series based on the Alien movies just announced.

I think there are a lot of people who don't realize Dark Horse Insider 46 and Marvel Previews 95 are money books.

The butterflys are a reoccurring theme in the Vader comic as well https://www.starwarsnewsnet.com/2018/02/how-the-darth-vader-comic-series-combines-the-best-of-two-star-wars-eras.html There's a video I remember seeing that tracks all of the butterfly appearances, but its speculated to have something to do with the light side of the force.

Earth shaking good episode. I was a bit worried about a live action Ahsoka. But its safe to say they knocked it out of the park.
