  1. I'm guessing its because there are a lot of them. And it was always a bummer when the person thought they had the "rare 35 cent variant" when in fact it was the near worthless reprint. I can't count how many times I've had to be the bad guy and tell the person they had the diamond and not the box with the slightly offset 35. But it seems like it should be worth more than it is now.
  2. There is certainly a recent trend of a lot of 2nd and 3rd prints+ being worth more than the 1st print which was almost unherd of with maybe a small handful of exceptions. Now there are quite a few. The 1st edition is still usually worth more, but the exceptions list list growing Some examples of the top of my head Darth Maul 2 Kanan the Last Padawan 1 Darth Vader 3 Dawn of the Jedi 1 Captain Marvel 17 All-New Marvel Now Point One! 1 Amazing Spider-man 569 Amazing Spider-man 654 Superman Batman Annual 4 Man of Steel 20 Batman 608 Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles 4 Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles 5 Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles 6 Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles 7 Venom 2 Ms Marvel 1 I know I'm forgetting a bunch
  3. OK I just read the feedback.... He's insane....blocked
  4. Seems like there are 3 books that are claiming "1st Ahoska in Canon" Each issue has a really small single panel. Mace Windu 5 Star Wars Age of the Republic Special 1 Darth Vader 14
  5. A bit off topic but they released some new unseen footage, and behind the scenes shots from Empire Strikes Back today. Excellent stuff !!!!!!! https://www.goodmorningamerica.com/culture/video/rare-exclusive-scenes-empire-strikes-back-74735668
  6. I was thinking what happened to Joe Collector?
  7. I'm thinking we get Thrawn plus someone else from Canon that Baby Yoda reached out to. But I don't think they will reveal Ezra yet.
  8. Paypal only $5 shipping to anywhere in the US $10 overseas or Canada Clone Wars #1 Hardback edition NM/M A library hardback version of the famous 1st Ahsoka issue. $100 EACH 3 copies for sale These are essentially perfect. Four Sharp corners both front and back on each copy. Zero finger prints. Still very glossy and wet looking. Perfect spines Zero blunting or scuffing on the top edges, bottom edges, or back covers of each of these books. Looks like they have never been opened. Each book will be bagged and boarded carefully. (I also have 1 other copy with one VERY minor blunted corner for $85) Book 1
  9. I think it has to do Fett on the front and SW42 being more known. Its one of those case by case basis things I would bet the next magazine (1st Boba) in 9.8 that goes for sale would beat the last Star Wars 42 in 9.8 for price. Its quite tough in 9.8
  10. You have a point, but I would guess the next Marvel Super Special 16 9.8 that goes up for sale will go over $2k
  11. Star Wars Insiders are interesting. Certainly some upward movement in prices. I see 95, and 103 (PX cover) on the rise for Ahsoka 1st app. plus many of her other cover appearances, especially 140 which often gets over $200 For Rebels, 149 and 152 seem to do well. 195 (Baby Yoda/Grogu) is also getting some bucks.
  12. Kull Lot 1-29 Plus some of his other titles. A total of 42 books plus Kull 3D. Average Grade VF/VF+ Some are as low as F/VF some as high as NM $95 (Pictures coming shortly)
  13. Man Thing Lot A few have water damage and a few have a store sticker. Some of the better ones reach around VF/VF+ Take all 14 issues for $35
  14. Red Sonja Lot Marvel Feature 2-7 Red Sonja 2-15 Plus a few more from another fo her titles. The grades on these range from VF- to NM $70
  15. 1st Lot Conan 2-21 $245 OBO Issues 2 and 3 are F/VF issues 4-21 are around VG/F and have been what looks like folded in groups of around 5 or six books at one time then bagged and boarded individually years ago. They often look better than VG/F but have a hump in the middle of the each book. and a bit of color breaking on the tops and bottoms. I've attached a bunch of photos so people can get an better understanding of what they look like. Sometimes its hard to see the hump and crease in photos.
  16. Selling a handful of lots today, not a full sales thread just a handful of lots. Paypal Only $10 shipping
  17. If we are counting magazines 1st Inquisitor in comic book form would be Rebels Magazine 2 from January 2016 Then 1st comic, its Kanan 12 from 5/16 The Rebels Magazine might cost you around $100+ (Prices range a bit) Kanan 12 you can still a decent copy for around $30.
  18. A few somewhat cheaper modern books that have been heating up aside from some of the more known offenders Star Wars 17 Dark Horse 2000 Newsstand or Regular (1st Quinlan Vos, a Jedi that survived Order 66?) Star Wars Tales 4 (Newsstand, Comic pack w/ IG97 & Rom Mohc #4, and Regular) 1st Dark Troopers Age of the Republic Special 1 Khoi Pham variant 1st Ahoska in Canon Star Wars Mace Windu 5 1st Ahoska at Marvel?
  19. I think Kanan 1 1:25 is right on the edge of being a $1K book
  20. Modern variant books if we count newsstands at $1000+ Clone Wars 1 variant at around $4850 in 9.8 I would guess a Newsstand 9.8 might get around $3500-$4000 Vader Down 1:5000 Zdarsky 9.8 $4295 Heir to the Empire 1 Newsstand $2500 9.8 (White box Newsstand 9.8 $2500++??) (Likely a bit of room to move) Star Wars Jedi vs Sith 1 Dynamic Forces variant $2500 9.8 1st Darth Bane Knights of the Old Republic 9 Newsstand 9.8 $1500+ (Prices vary widely, book has dropped a bit) 1st Reven Jedi Mace Windu Newsstand 9.8 $1500+? Legacy 1 9.8 Newsstand $1500+? Darth Vader 3 variant 9.8 $1450 Heir to the Empire #1 comic pack 9.8 $1000+ Thrawn 1 1:50 cover 9.8 $1000+ Star Wars Adventures 1 Momoko $1000? Kanan the Last Padawan 1 1:25 $1000? I think I'm missing 1 or 2 and I can see a few other books topping the 1K mark soon.
