  1. Hello We are still grading these cards. However, there is a delay in the encapsulation process. Mike
  2. You would not believe how vast the AdminCP is, which is what makes this forum tick. At this time, it would not be worth while to construct a whole new forum for trading cards. I just took a look. There were 15 threads that received posts in a weeks time.
  3. I am certain no problems will develop from this thread. Right?
  4. Here's the definition listed on our new website. https://www.cgccards.com/card-grading/cards-we-grade/ NG Not Genuine If a card is counterfeit, it will be returned raw. Submitter is charged the grading fee.
  5. I think that was intentional when you click on the CGC logo. You just have to click on the Trading Cards tab, and it will take you to CGCcards.com It's not on a dropdown menu. The tab is right there in plain sight. The CGC site shows all collectibles we grade, which include cards. I don't think it would be fair to the other collectibles we grade if you clicked on the CGC logo, and it only took you to the cards section. It looks like the card selling, WTB and ebay/dealers forums are getting short changed with the link taking you just to the Trading Cards section. I might request this link at the top, where the Ask CGC link is. https://boards.cgccomics.com/forum/101-trading-card-marketplace/
  6. Try the new site. If it doesn't work, let me know and I will contact customer service and find out. https://www.cgccards.com/
  7. Actually, he said exciting things. Plenty more to come very soon.
  8. We've got an exciting announcement for all the trading card fans out there. CGC Trading Cards just launched its own brand-new website! As of March 30, 2022, CGCcards.com is completely devoted to trading card grading and collecting, including detailed information on the CGC Trading Cards grading process and grading scale, the CGC Trading Cards Online Submission Form and TCG-specific news. Visit CGCcards.com to experience the new website and see what else is coming soon!
  9. Hello Did you pay for the label error notation? If so, we can change the label to reflect the error free of charge. Please PM me the invoice and line number for the submission. Mike
  10. I am sorry I missed this post. I will try to find an answer for you. Give me a day or two. Mike
  11. Hello NG means not genuine. The definition of this will be listed on our site soon. Mike
  12. Keep in mind turn around times are working days. Mike
  13. The only way we could confirm anything would be to see the card in person. That includes speculation on a manufacturing defect based on an image. Mike
  14. @D2 and @darkstar You both need to stop this, or I will have to ban you both from the topic and/or issue warnings.
  15. Hello If you still have the order in your possession, you can either create a new packing slip or manually adjust the one you already completed. If you have already mailed it out or it is here, then no updates or changes can be made. Mike
  16. So, we are not going to be able to give an opinion on this based on images. Sorry, Mike
  17. Hello The grade of a card is not based on the average. If the 2 lowest subgrades match, that is the grade. Mike
  18. I will let you know if more photos are requested.
  19. Hello I am not sure we can give you an opinion bases on images but, I will pass them along to our experts, and see what they say. Mike
  20. We don't have an estimate as to how long the delay will be at this time. Sorry.
  21. So, without pictures, it would be hard to say when the damage happened. If the grades match the defects, it sounds like the damage occurred prior to grading, and most likely during the shipping process to CGC. The reason I believe it happened during shipping is, the OP is saying all of the damage on the books is all on the same corner.
  22. Hello You would have to check with customer service to find out why one card didn't receive a grade. Here is a few reasons why we might not grade a card. Mike Specific trading card restrictions CGC Trading Cards does not certify counterfeit cards. A counterfeit card is one manufactured by anyone other than the official company that produces it. CGC Trading Cards will not grade any card that has been altered to create the deception that it is a rarer version; for example, turning white borders black or changing the set symbol. Rebacked cards are not eligible for certification by CGC Trading Cards. In most cases, rebacked cards are produced by sanding the face of one card and the back of another and gluing them together. Certain cards are deemed not suitable for certification on a case-by-case basis; for example, a card with significant missing pieces or with structural integrity issues.
  23. So, I had an e-mail drip campaign installed on the forum. I was originally going to use it to provide reminders of new rounds ect... via PM to people in the grading contest but, that is proving to be a difficult task. Today, I set up a campaign and added a step so people who make their first post on the forum will automatically receive a welcome PM from me, and it also gives them a few pointers. I thought I would share this.
