  1. A while back, I went through this thread and took examples of books that had QC issues. They made it to upper management, and we did make an announcement. With that said, I am going to do it again. I did receive specific instructions of who I can contact, and they will get the images. I will start on this tomorrow. Here is the announcement that was made a while back: Hello comic book collectors, We at CGC want to let you know that we have seen your comments, and the concerns that you have shared on this thread have been taken to the highest level of our company. CGC takes quality control very seriously and we have been taking steps to identify and correct the root causes of the issues you’ve identified here. We have also recently added an additional 25,000 square feet of workspace, which has enabled us to hire more people, including QC specialists and operations managers, as well as improve our processes. CGC is fully focused on maintaining – and enhancing – the quality of the services that we provide. Thank you for bringing these issues to our attention. We will attempt to contact those who have posted about a quality control issue so that we can fix it. If anyone ever experiences an issue with quality control or anything else, please do not hesitate to reach out to our dedicated customer service team at 877-662-6642 or service@cgccomics.com.
  2. Send an e-mail to submissions@cgccomics.com and include these pics.
  3. Here are a few examples: Specific trading card restrictions CGC Trading Cards does not certify counterfeit cards. A counterfeit card is one manufactured by anyone other than the official company that produces it. CGC Trading Cards will not grade any card that has been altered to create the deception that it is a rarer version; for example, turning white borders black or changing the set symbol. Rebacked cards are not eligible for certification by CGC Trading Cards. In most cases, rebacked cards are produced by sanding the face of one card and the back of another and gluing them together. Certain cards are deemed not suitable for certification on a case-by-case basis; for example, a card with significant missing pieces or with structural integrity issues.
  4. Seems you have already contacted customer service multiple times, you are probably aware of the answer. I have already been told by upper management that the submission return would be the entire submission. Mike
  5. Well, if you have a mixed submission of both metal and regular TC's, it affects the entire submission TAT. Without asking the graders, I am not sure if they grade the regular cards or wait. I would guess they get graded and wait for the metal cards to be encapsulated, then the entire order is shipped.
  6. I believe an exception is made here, because of the encapsulation delay. Mike
  7. I am not sure what you are asking. I could DDOS the entire selling forum here but, I don't think that would be a very popular action.
  8. We are sorry for any inconvenience. Anyone can always request that their entire submission be returned with just the metal cards raw and ungraded. Mike
  9. Since we're dealing with high value CGC books it's likely he may be on this very forum himself. And I don't want to flat out state his actual name until it's acceptable to do so. Moderation doesn't get involved with disputes between buyers and sellers. Here is the official wording. Note that buyers and sellers have full responsibility for their transactions. CGC will not resolve disputes. Purchases and sales are done at your own risk.
  10. Hello You can submit a slabbed card to CGC for a regrade. However, for now, you should keep raw and slabbed submissions separate. When you are filling out the submission form, be sure to select a grading tier, not re-holder. You will be charged the normal grading fee. Mike

  13. Hello We currently don't have a date when the encapsulation delay for the metal cards will end. It will be at least a few more weeks. Mike
  14. The current turn around time for WT is 10 days so, I would think you package will be opened within 5 days upon us receiving it.
  15. This is the 3rd thread you have started. The first was in marketplace probations. The second was in the grading forum. I merged the two, and moved them to comics general. I have now merged this 3rd thread. Do not start another one.
  16. Hello Most likely, they haven't been entered into the system yet. Mike
  17. The latest info I have received was on 2/25 and it was this: "So it’s done and with MX to build the page for the website and put together the email blast. We’re estimating 2-3 weeks until it launches. Just in case anyone asks."
  18. It is in the pop now. While it says it was graded on 3/11 it wasn’t shipped until 3/16. Items do not appear in the pop until they are shipped. The pop report kicks off on Saturday nights and is imported to the site on Tuesday mornings.
