  1. Let me present this to the team and see what they say.
  2. I don't have any additional information, other than what I have posted. Sorry.
  3. Currently, we have not scheduled any on site grading events. Sorry.
  4. We were able to reach out and get this fixed. Marvel Comics Custom Kith 2023Comic #1 8/23 is the correct name in the system and should be able to have all the marvel custom labels selectable, We just have to wait till our system syncs later this afternoon.
  5. I heard back from Web Help. For the Eros Comix Butterscotch #1, the only custom label currently available is the Ringling Y3 label, so that is showing correct.
  6. Everything is not always mentioned. Many times, there are no graders notes listed. Especially for a 9.6
  7. Not all small bends are visible looking through the case. I do not believe there is a challenge process for this. I found this post from Customer Service on how to get a SS book pressed and regraded. It is 3 years old.
  8. I reported the incorrect label and entry, and it was supposed to be corrected today. The customer was supposed to be notified to have the slab label fixed as well.
  9. Thanks for the info. I will pass this along as well.
  10. I checked with the team and this is what I was told: We currently do not encapsulate published art. This includes prelims. The Campbell one, consisting of several partial sketches on a piece of paper, is far enough removed/dissimilar from the finished art to allow it. As for the Liefeld ones, they are generally complete and broken down into the panels used in the finished published book. I'm not familiar with the Capullo ones mentioned, they may have been before my time or like the Campbell one, far enough removed from the published work to allow it. We are planning on offering a service for the grading of published art in the future, though currently there is no set time frame for this service.
  11. What is the full title of the book that is not coming up
  12. For reference, I use a laptop, and I can move around the forum at lightning speed.
  13. I will pass this along to web help. Thanks for pointing it out.
  14. Here is a post from a customer service rep. If the signing is not witnessed by an authorized CGC witness and directly submitted for grading, then the signature cannot be authenticated for Signature Series. Testimonials, photographs, video recordings, certificates of authenticity, or any other proof of signing are not accepted. Any items that have already been signed would not qualify for the Signature Series label. In most cases, they would receive a green Qualified label (attached). This allows the graders to ignore the signature for grading purposes and the book is not downgraded for the writing. Label Description | CGC (cgccomics.com) At or below a 6.0 the writing/signature on the cover no longer has a significant impact on the grade and our graders may feel it is not necessary to qualify the grade. They will factor the signature into grade and the book would receive a Universal (blue) label with the same notation of “name on cover in marker”. Please do not send in COAs. Retain them for your records as they are not needed for grading and may not be returned to you. More information on our Signature Series Program can be found on CGC Signature Series. Thank you!
  15. Hi I believe all available labels are listed in the online submission form. Mike
  16. It works just fine for me.
  17. When I visited CGC headquarters last year, I saw everything except receiving. I would rather wait until I am able to visit again, to answer most of this. I do know that QC was separate from encapsulation and shipping. It was located in the middle with a half dozen employees. That group included a manager. There was also another person who oversaw all of QC.
  18. The receiving team works right next to the graders; they open the box, receive the books (still in the bags), and hand them to the grader.
  19. Yes, this would mean that the piece was placed inside the book. I guess the reasoning was, to keep the piece with the book.
  20. Thanks for the info. I will pass it along. I was told that the first grader (first person to remove the book from the bag) noted this: top right piece detached in bag - placed between pgs 3&4”. When asked about this, he said the piece was already detached and floating in the bag.
