  1. Rob doubled his prices for covers after that sale. Actually, his cover prices started going up before the sale of the #2 cover piece. And it completely depends on the cover content. There is no standard price for a cover. He certainly did not double it. I'm not one that sits on here and argues. Yes, your correct that the prices vary, all I am saying was that at that time he said his covers would be going from $400 to $800. At that time pretty much most of his covers had the same price tag.
  2. Rob doubled his prices for covers after that sale. He did not. Give your head a shake. Examples please. He sent an email to all on his art list stating that due to the current prices his art was fetching on the open market, he would be selling his covers for $800. This was a day after the #2 sale happened.
  3. Rob doubled his prices for covers after that sale.
  4. They were $400 when the series started, but I think they went to $800 the second the cover to Issue #2 went for $1,200 on ebay. I luckily got in early and got mine for $400.
  5. Do you think chew will hold it's value when the story finishes?
  6. Don't watch #2!! it's awful!! #1 is awesome. Watch that.
  7. It is what superhero books should be. It really is great.
  8. Hopefully season 3 is even more. With the ratings this is getting I am surprised they are not trying to get this out in the summer or spring instead of a year from now. What long are hit TV shows seasons like Lost, Nip/Tuck, and such?
  9. Well the first 4 3/4 episodes were good, what a huge disappointment episode 6 looks like.
  10. I know what you mean, I expect undead hordes clamoring for my flesh, who are strong enough to rip through my skull to be sedate and calm. Im just saying, they were not that aggressive in the comic, if they were those fences at the prison would have come down eventually
  11. They are straight up aggressive in the show. That one used a brick to finally smash through the door in the department store.
  12. Has anyone mentioned the fact that the zombies friggen run, not outright sprint, but the run in the show! Hell one climbed a damn fence. What's up with that?
  13. Well I take that last part back, nothing will ever be better than the comic. But the new plot lines may be fantastic as I am sure Robert has been thinking about how things could have gone differently.
  14. Think about it this way, after Kirkman wrote the first few issues, or any issue really, afterwards he probably looked back and was like "hmm it would have been cool if..." and that is what we are getting now with the show. It may be even better than the comic, maybe.
  15. Absolutely Wow she really is amazing! This issue was fantastic. "little piggy, little piggy, let me in."
  16. Look, I have both systems but rarely play the 360. If a game is available for either system, I go with PS3. I'm sorry, but I have a really hard time supporting a computer company that jumped into the gaming world and feels they can charge you to be able to play online. PS3 is free, no membership required. XBox live is a rip.
  17. They had him doing Haunt Yup, ended awhile ago..
  18. He isn't doing anything other than Invincible. 75 is double sized with an incredible amount of detail that doesn't go quickly. Trust me, I am sure it will be worth the wait.
  19. I thought you knew it wasn't about zombies?! It's the best exploration of human survival ever, with fantastic characters.
  20. Anyone read 14 yet? Great issue. Won't spoil anything but I'm really looking forward to the next issue. Anyone notice the movie that was playing was the walking dead? Nice one John and Rob
  21. It varies, depending on the detail and subject matter of the cover. They were much less expensive a couple of years ago, but most of the covers will be priced from $1,200-1,800.
  22. Glad to see another Invincible fan on the boards, and welcome. Not to worry, I am taking a hiatus from cover buying right now since I am getting married in May, so got to cut the art budget a bit. So have at it!
  23. Personally, I look forward to invincible more than anything else. I just love Ryans art, I never get tired of it and I learn so much from it. Invincible to me is truly a special book. The dynamic shots that are in 74 really were incredible. I wish 75 was out next week!
